Welcome to the Ruffin Ridley PTO!
We are the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) for the Florida Ruffin Ridley K-8 School.
Supporting families and teachers.
The Ruffin Ridley PTO is a 501c3 non-profit organization created to support teachers, staff, and families at FRR. We are a 100% volunteer-led, parent-run organization. The FRR PTO collaborates closely with but is independent from the Brookline Public School district.
The PTO has three primary goals:
Community Building
Bring the Ruffin Ridley School community together by:
organizing events throughout the school year for families, teachers, and staff
facilitating communication via this website and a weekly newsletter emailed to families
maintaining a directory of parents, teachers, and staff
Enrichment
Support teachers in curriculum enrichment by funding field trips, guest speakers, science materials, classroom supplies, and much more.
Community Support
Provide support for at-risk students and families.

Did you know?
PTO Officers are all unpaid parent volunteers. Are you able to volunteer a few hours for an event, become a class parent, or help fundraise? We can only do this work with the help of other volunteers. We hope you can find some time to dedicate to FRR so that the PTO can continue to add value for students and the community.
